One in custody after home shot in Battleford

Charges are pending after a home was shot at in Battleford.

The RCMP were called to the complaint on Second Ave. and 15 St. shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 26. Several holes were found in the home but no one was injured.

Officers on patrol later located a vehicle close to the scene and attempted to stop it. The driver refused and after a short pursuit, the vehicle was disabled with a spike belt and the driver was arrested.

Members found a firearm and numerous round of ammunition inside the vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.
