Despite the scorching sun shining down Friday afternoon, the city’s fire department made it rain in North Battleford to help residents cool down as the temperature broke 30 C.
A pop-up spray park helped people in North Battleford enjoy the 30 C weather that moved into the region Friday. (Tyler Marr/battlefordsNOW Staff)The department hosted a pop-up spray park at Connaught School from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
They used a 100 foot aerial ladder to spray water out among the crowd. It was the first time the department has hosted the event.
