Jul 26, 2019 | 1:22 PM

Going a perfect two-for-two, Dakota Buttar earned his third PBR Canada win of the season in North Battleford Thursday night.

The Kindersley product recorded top marks in Round 1 by making the eight second mark on the back of Devour, earning 84 points.

In the championship round, Buttar was the last man out of the chute and picked up an event-best 87.5 points on Rat Trap.

He is now tied with Okotoks’ Jordan Hansen for most wins in 2019. Buttar took home wins in Moose Jaw and Medicine Hat.

Buttar’s performance earned him just over $4,000 and 350 Canadian and 60 World points. He is now ranked No. 3 nationally and sits just under 475 points behind Maple Creek’s No. 1 Jared Parsonage.

The PBR Canada circuit continues next weekend in Frog Lake. The season will come to an end in Saskatoon on Nov. 22 and 23 when the Top 20 riders in the national battle it out.
