Late-night house fire under investigation

A late-night house fire in North Battleford remains under investigation.

The fire department said it was called to the home at 1571 99 St. shortly after 11 p.m. on July 24.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the back of the home.

Two pumpers, three utility vehicles and 13 firefighters, including two chief officers, were on scene alongside police and paramedics.

The blaze was quickly extinguished.
