Tornado alert ended for Redberry, Blaine Lake areas

The tornado alert has concluded according to Environment Canada officials.

Environment Canada has issued a critical tornado alert for an area north of Saskatoon.

The R.M. of Redberry, including Hafford and Krydor and the R.M. of Blaine Lake including Blaine Lake are under a tornado alert.

The alert was issues at 3:39 p.m. today. Extra care and attention should be exercised in these areas and around Radisson and Bordon.

At this time, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a tornado.

Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible at this time.

If threatening weather approaches, you are urged to take cover immediately.
