One dead after cabin fire in Cochin

One man is dead after a small cabin caught fire in Cochin on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called out at around 4 a.m. to the resort village, where RCMP said one person was trapped inside the building.

The fire is not suspicious and the identity of the deceased is not known.

Battlefords RCMP and the provincial coroner are working to identify the person to inform the family.
