Train cars derail near R.M. of Wilton

CN Police is currently managing a train derailment in the R.M. of Wilton.

Three empty rail cars left the track and remain upright, according to Maidstone RCMP. The derailment is affecting access on Range Road 3260.

Traffic is currently being re-routed in the area until all cars can be corrected. There are no public safety issues reported at this time.

Members of the Wilton Fire Department remain on scene for traffic assistance.
