Battleford boil water advisory lifted

Update: The boil water advisory has been lifted.

Battleford has issued a boil water advisory for residents and businesses on the 200 block of 33 St. W. until further notice.

Workers repaired water mains in the area and the water is turned back on but residents need to continue to boil water on this block only.

For other areas affected by the water-main work, people are asked to run their water a few minutes to flush the line until the water runs clear after first turning their taps on if they notice the water appears discoloured initially.
