Kerrobert man facing weapon, trafficking charges

A Kerrobert man is facing a number of charges after officers executed a search warrant at a home over the weekend.

Members of the Kindersley/Kerrobert Detachment and the RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team found two firearms, ammunition, varying quantities of suspected methamphetamine, suspected shatter and cocaine, and other drug paraphernalia.

Alexander Smarch, 36, is facing 13 charges for drug and firearm possession, and trafficking.

He was remanded and appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on June 3.
