Two facing possession charges after police execute search warrant in Kindersley

A man and woman are facing a number of charges after police executed a search warrant at a home in Kindersley.

RCMP officers from the town and the F Division Crime Reduction Team searched a home on Kay Cres. at around 1 a.m. on Friday.

Three people were arrested and police found 27 grams of crack cocaine and three grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Shawn Finlay, 33, and Brooke Gassner, 19, both from Kindersley, are now facing possession charges.

Finlay was arrested and will appear in court in Kindersley on June 4.

Gassner was released and will appear in court on July 16.

A third person was arrested during the search but was released without charge.
