City rejects proposal for land sale for condo project; to make counter offer
The City of North Battleford turned down a proposal by a bidder to purchase land in the Fairview Heights area for a condo project, but will be making a counter offer instead.
Administration recommended rejecting the offer by the joint bidders – Do-All Holdings and Span West Farms representatives – at council’s meeting Monday.
The proposal was to purchase land at 2424 Buhler Avenue for $178,500 to develop a 22-unit apartment style condominium. The proposed start date was spring 2020. The bidder team also asked for a three-year tax incentive on all the units in the project.
