Tanya Aguilar-Antiman elected chief of Mosquito First Nation

Tanya Aguilar-Antiman is the new chief of the Mosquito First Nation.
She beat out four other candidates for the top job, taking 196 votes in the election on May 5. Behind her, Noel Stone tallied 132 votes, Daniel Starchief had 121, Solomon Mosquito took 119 and John Spyglass received 37.
Kyle Stone, Brenda Mosquito, Laurie-Ann Moosomin, Deborah Stone and Tristan Bird were elected as councillors from a massive field of 40 candidates.
