Man taken to hospital following collision involving bike and car

A man was sent to hospital following a collision between a bicycle and a car in North Battleford, Thursday.

According to an RCMP spokesperson, the bicycle allegedly drove through a stop sign and collided with the car.

The incident happened at the intersection at 101 Street and 13 Avenue at about 2 p.m.

The man on the bike was taken to hospital for treatment.

RCMP, North Battleford Fire Department and WPD Ambulance attended at the scene, while Community Safety Officers controlled traffic and paramedics assisted the victim.
