One dead after truck hits ditch on Hwy 44

A 70-year-old man is dead after his truck hit the ditch on Highway 44 Monday afternoon.

Kindersley RCMP said the collision occurred one kilometre west of Gildden at around 3:10 p.m.

The driver, who was the only person in the truck, was heading eastbound when he hit the ditch and the vehicle flipped over on it’s side.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
