Apr 22, 2019 | 12:19 PM

Police are looking for information on two suspects after an attempted vehicle theft Monday morning.

RCMP said in a press release that two unknown males were seen breaking into two vehicles parked in the alley of the 1800 block and 99th St. in North Battleford at around 8 a.m.

The suspects attempted to steal one of the vehicles and damaged the steering column in the process.

A witness confronted them and the men ran from the scene.

The suspects are described as wearing black sweaters and hats. One of the males had a red back pack with a large screw driver sticking out of the bag.

The vehicle owner said a black Helly Hansen jacket liner and a remote garage door opener were taken from the vehicles.
