Manitoba’s McEwen yet to find stride at Canadian men’s curling championship
BRANDON, Man. — The host province has hit turbulence at the Canadian men’s curling championship.
Manitoba’s Mike McEwen was upset by Yukon’s Jon Solberg 7-6 on Monday following a demoralizing loss to Brendan Bottcher’s wild-card team at Westoba Place.
At 2-2 in Pool A, McEwen is looking up at Northern Ontario’s Brad Jacobs (4-0), Bottcher and Saskatchewan’s Kirk Muyres (3-1) with three games remaining in the round robin.
