RCMP investigating after home shot at on Moosomin First Nation

Police are investigating after someone’s home was shot at Monday on the Moosomin First Nation.

Battlefords RCMP said they received the complaint around 10 p.m. and found damage consistent with bullets striking the outside of the home and travelling through and inside.

Bullet fragments were found inside the home, though no one was injured.

The Battlefords Forensic Identification Section attended to and confirmed a large calibre firearm was shot at the house.

Police spoke with a number of nearby residents and learned information about a vehicle that was in the area at the time.
