Suspects sought after early morning armed robbery

Information is sought on two suspects after an armed robbery at a business Thursday morning.

Battlefords RCMP said in a media release that around 1:30 a.m., two males entered the 7/11 on 100th St. with their hoods up and faces covered. One pulled out a firearm and pointed it at an employee and the other produced a baseball bat and demanded money.

Police said a very small amount of cash was turned over before the men left the store on foot.

The one suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, blue pants, red shoes and described as being about five-foot-10-inches tall and heavy set. The other was wearing a red and black plaid jacket with a black hoodie underneath, grey shoes and is about five-foot-eight-inches tall with a thin build.
