The Rock’s Ball Breaker smashes hunger, raises over $20K

For two weeks, listeners to 93.3 The Rock have been asked to drop off donations of cash or soup to help the Battleford District Food and Resource Centre as part of the annual Ball Breaker fundraiser.

Those who did were entered to win a 2018 Sea-Doo Spark or a Can-Am Outlander quad, courtesy of Red Head Equipment. 

At the end of it all, over $20,480 was raised through cash and food donations. All cash donations were matched by Nutrien Corp., and can continue to be made through Dec. 30 at No Frills when checking out and donating $2.

Taking home the top prize was Todd Patterson, who selected the Can-Am Outlander.
