New preliminary hearing dates have been set for Joshua Tucker, the man charged with second-degree murder in the death of his father.
Tucker, 27, was charged in May after police received information that led them to a rural property southeast of Cochin, where they found the body of Gordon Tucker — Joshua’s 59-year-old father.
Tucker appeared briefly in North Battleford provincial court Thursday morning via closed-circuit television where Jan. 14 to 17 were set aside as dates for his preliminary hearing.
In June, a judge ordered a psychiatric assessment for Tucker before any other court appearances.
