Eight arrested in drug bust

Eight people have been charged following a police investigation over the past year in the Meadow Lake and Green Lake areas.

Meadow Lake RCMP and the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (PAISET) have been investigating and identifying suspects involved with the flow of drugs around the region. As a result of the investigation, a quantity of cocaine, cash, brass knuckles and a vehicle were seized, along with several arrests made.

Police have charged the following people:

Stanley Wallace Roy, 48- Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the purpose of trafficking, Possession of the proceeds of crime

Trevor Dancy, 47 – Trafficking Cocaine and breach of an undertaking

Keith Larry Iron, 28- Trafficking cocaine and Possession of the proceeds of crime

Joey Joseph Petit, 24 – Trafficking Cocaine X 2, Possession for the purpose of trafficking X 2, and breach of Probation X 2.

Brandon Yellowquill, 27- Trafficking Cocaine X 3, Possession for the purpose of trafficking X 3, and breach of Undertaking X 3.

Arthur Laliberte, 67 – Trafficking Cocaine X 2, Possession for the purpose of trafficking X 2

Eva Laliberte, 58 –  Possession of the proceeds of crime

Darwin Kennedy, 52– Trafficking Cocaine

Search warrants were executed on several residents as part of the investigation, with the assistance of PA Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) and the Crime Reduction Team (CRT), RCMP said in a release.
