Strong turnout for walk to recognize missing woman
Led by the solemn sound of the drummers’ beat, more than 100 people marched through the streets of downtown North Battleford Wednesday in a walk to raise awareness about missing woman Ashley Morin.
The procession started outside the RCMP detachment and travelled along 102 Street, before coming to rest for a large prayer circle and healing ceremony at Central Park.
The aim of the walk was to continue to remind people that Morin is still missing and the family is still searching for answers.
“Ash we love you and miss you so much,” said family friend and spokesperson Krista Fox. “We will not give up until Ashley is brought home.”
