Stars hope to prove Terriers’ bark is worse than bite
Coming off a 5-3 win over the Melville Millionaires, the Battlefords North Stars are back in action tonight.
Last night’s performance at home saw the North Stars rob the Millionaires of a couple points in deserved fashion; with the Stars dominating large portions of play and outshooting the overwhelmed Melville team 47-24.
For the Stars, tonight’s game will mark the second of two games this weekend at the Civic Centre. This time, the team will be facing off against the Yorkton Terriers.
The Terriers enter action having won three-straight games, including a couple of thrilling overtime winners Oct. 2, an 8-7 win over Humboldt, and Oct. 12, a 3-2 victory over the Kindersley Klippers.
