North Stars aim to avenge last night’s loss to Klippers
The Battlefords North Stars fell 3-1 to the division-rival, Kindersley Klippers last night (Fri) at the Civic Centre and will no doubt be champing at the bit for a chance at retribution tonight, hoping to take advantage of their chance to play the spoiler at the Klippers home-opener this evening.
For several Stars’ players, last night served as their first taste of SJHL action. Getting that first game under their belt is a feat that will surely ease some nerves and help them gain further confidence moving forward.
The North Stars have had mixed degrees of success in Kindersley dating back to last season, winning twice in five games last year at the West Central Events Centre, both in extra time.
When it comes to lineup changes for the North Stars ahead of tonight’s game, one of the biggest moves includes moving Brett Gammer up the lineup to play with centreman MacGregor Sinclair and Ryan Gil on the top unit.
