UPDATE: Power restored after outage affected northern portions of city

Power is now restored after an outage reported earlier today. 

SaskPower attributed the outage was due to one of the lines being struck.

Power outages have been reported on the North end of the city and crews on en route to fix the problem. 

At 10:50 a.m. Sask Power received notice of power outages in North Battleford. The company could not say what areas exactly are affected, but according to reports, the outages seem to be limited to the northern areas of the city along Territorial Dr.

Sask Power couldn’t provide and estimated time when power will be restored or the cause of the outages, because crews haven’t been able to assess the situation yet.
