Albers traded to Seattle Mariners; will start Tuesday
UPDATED:
North Battleford native Andrew Albers will start in Tuesday’s Seattle Mariners game against the Baltimore Orioles.
It will be his first major league action since Sept. 23, 2016, when he pitched in relief for the Minnesota Twins, ironically, against the Mariners, his new team. His last start was Aug. 11, 2016, when he pitched six innings for the Twins, giving up three earned runs, 11 hits, and striking out five. He got a no decision, and the team lost the game 10-2.
