Finders keepers: Library egg hunt fun for all
Apr 17, 2017 | 10:00 AM
North Battleford Library had kids hopping, bopping, and bounding as they scurried around the children’s area looking for hidden eggs Saturday afternoon, as part of the library’s traditional Kids’ Drop-In Easter Egg Hunt.
Last year about 100 kids took part, and by shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday about 50 kids had already been through the doors.
Children participating in the event were set to the task of finding four plastic eggs hidden between books, in corners, and in all kinds of secret places in the library they were able to collect and turn in for assorted prizes. The event made for a fun start to the Easter long-weekend.
