Mar 9, 2017 | 5:00 AM

Members of the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce want you to trade your shovel in for a nine iron as preparations are being finalized for the fourth Annual Chamber Business Golf Challenge on Friday, May 26.

The event is once again being hosted at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club.

“For the past three years this event has been huge,” Linda Makhniak, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce told battlefordsNOW.  “Each year the golf challenge has grown in numbers and this year we expect it to be the biggest yet.”

Registration is just $100 plus GST and being accepted now. Sign-up includes a golf cart plus meals and a chance to win prizes.

Makhniak added there will be activities at each hole and opportunities to network with businesses as well.

“We have 18 of our member businesses sponsoring holes again this year so when you or your team arrive at the hole you will be greeted by a company representative. Most will have a fun activity for you to do and of course a chance to chat as well.”

Registrations are available online at the chamber website or by calling the chamber of commerce.
