Mar 8, 2017 | 7:10 AM

Police say they “cannot speculate” whether weather was a factor in a fatal collision on Highway 22 before 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Esterhazy RCMP were called to the crash that involved a semi-tractor trailer, a tow truck and two other vehicles on the highway between the community of Gerald and a potash mine, about 23 kilometres east of Esterhazy.

Police said the man driving the tow truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was taken to hospital with “undetermined injuries,” according to RCMP.

The tow truck driver’s family has been notified. RCMP will not be releasing his name.
