Two arrested after N.B. drug and firearm seizure

Two North Battleford residents have been arrested and charged after Battlefords’ municipal and provincial officers located weapons and drugs in a residence.
According to a news release, police executed a search warrant at a residence on 104th St. at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 14.
Police say they found marijuana, a long barrel firearm, ammunition, several cans of bear spray and Canadian currency.
An 18-year-old man was charged with possession of a weapon and a 49-year-old woman faces various charges relating to possession and trafficking substances.
