Where to attend a Remembrance Day ceremony in the Battlefords
Canadians across the country will come together Friday to remember and honour those who have served.
In the Battlefords, there will be several services taking place for Remembrance Day this Nov. 11.
The North Battleford Legion No. 70 will host its annual service and parade. The parade will start at the legion hall at 10:15 a.m., arriving at John Paul II Collegiate for a service starting at 10:55 a.m. The service will be followed by cadets laying wreaths and a lunch back at the legion. There will also be a banquet at the legion at 4:30 p.m., for which tickets are required.
The Battleford Legion No. 9 will also host its annual service at St. Vital School. A parade will form at the legion at 10:30 a.m. and move to the school for an 11 a.m. service. Lunch will follow the service. The legion is also hosting a banquet, but tickets have sold out.
