Antique Saskatchewan Hospital items offered in auction
The Saskatchewan Hospital is hauling out its store of antiques to raise money for its new facility.
Corinne Delainey, fundraising lead for the Saskatchewan Hospital New Beginnings campaign, said all of the items being auctioned off were used in the hospital and eventually stored away.
“We’ve dusted everything off and cleaned it all up and quite a bit of it is really interesting, unique antique or collectible type items,” she said. “They’re unique pieces, all of them have been used in the hospital at one time or another.”
Some of those items include three antique psychiatrist couches, a sewing machine, and lots of furniture like chairs and desks.
