The LUK Plumbing, Heating and Electric family was excited to show off their new location this week.

Tolanda Baker, who co-owns the Kindersley-based business with husband John Baker, said the company received a really good response from the community during the time they’ve been in business in the Battlefords.

“We’re on time and on budget and we try to treat everyone like they’re a part of our family,” she said. “We always say ‘thanks,’ we never forget that when we’re in somebody’s home when they invite us in, and we do the best service that we possibly can.”

The company expanded to the Battlefords roughly two and a half years ago and recently moved to Thatcher Ave. in North Battleford from Battleford. The couple’s five children are all involved in the plumbing, heating and electric business. The Bakers’ daughter Glenda Rye and her husband Jarvis run the Battlefords location and son Mike Baker works there.
