GoFundMe page set up to help wife of accused murderer

A GoFundMe page was recently started to help the wife of accused murderer Gerald Stanley.

A page was originally set up to raise money to offset Stanley’s legal fees, but was not approved by the GoFundMe’s administration.

The campaign entitled “Help Mrs. Stanley of Biggar, Sk.,” is meant to support Stanley’s wife “through this hard time as the harvest season is coming up.”

The fundraising campaign will also include steak night dinners hosted in Perdue, according to the campaign’s description.

The campaign has a goal of $35,000, and as of roughly 12 p.m., the site has received one $100 donation.
