The Maidstone RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance after three incidents over the past week.

On Tuesday, June 28, Maidstone RCMP and the Enhanced Policing Unit were called to a rural location near Waseca for a reported break and enter where several vehicles were stolen. Sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m two trucks stole a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike, a red Polaris 400 ATV, a Kawasaki side-by-side, a second motorbike, as well as tools and other items.

On Wednesday, June 29, a break and enter was reported at a rural location in the RM of Britannia. Eight rifles, ammunition and cash were stolen. All stolen property was secured at the time of the thefts.

On Saturday, July 2, the Enhanced Policing Unit was on Highway 17 north of Lloydminster when a 2002 Green Mazda Protege with Saskatchewan plate 944 JMC was stopped. As police approached the vehicle, it fled north towards Alcurve, Alta. RCMP deemed it too dangerous to pursue due to a busy highway.
