 Come into the shelter and consult with one of our adoption counsellors. Be prepared to answer their questions as to your lifestyle, and let them know what type, breed, and size of pet you are looking for. They will answer any questions or concerns you may have, and will inform you of the animals temperment, needs, etc. Our staff know the animals in our shelter. They provide them love and care on a daily basis, some of them for months, so we not only want to ensure that the animals are getting a loving permanent home, but you are getting the right pet for you and your family.

Obtain landlord approval if you rent your property.

We will not adopt out pets to minors. An adult(who lives in the home) needs to be present and willing to adopt.

Spaying/Neutering is NOT optional when adopting from us. The cost is included in the adoption pricing and you will be signing a legal contract stating you will have it done within the given time frame.

When you come to pick-up your new forever friend please bring a collar & leash or a carrier.

Our work doesn’t end when you take your new pet home. We are committed to helping you and your new pet establish a successful relationship, and welcome any questions or concerns you may have.
