This summer, Midwest Food Resources is giving local green thumbs the chance to refine their skills while making a positive impact in the community.

Saskatoon parent fights for gender-neutral birth certificates

Fran Forsberg, a Saskatoon parent of a nine-year-old transgender girl named Renn, said she is excited the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission (SHRC) will take action against the Saskatchewan government following her human rights complaint.

The Town of Battleford's 34th annual parade is facing some challenges this year and will need more participants before the show goes on Aug. 11.

Members from the Parks and Recreation department brought their concerns to the latest town council meeting July 17.

Western Development Museum launches Locomotive 1158 fundraiser

The Western Development Museum (WDM) in North Battleford is moving full steam ahead with a new fundraiser to save the museum's historic Locomotive 1158 steam-powered train.

The organizers launched the campaign at the museum Wednesday.
