With one stroke of Mayor Ryan Bater’s pen it became officially Big Brothers Big Sisters Day (BBBS) in the City of North Battleford.

This Monday will be very special day for one local charity.

The City of North Battleford has proclaimed Monday, Sept. 18 as Big Brothers Big Sisters Day. Mayor Ryan Bater made the proclamation at Monday’s city council meeting with members of the organization in attendance.

Families in the Battlefords will have an opportunity to experience a new, yet old, way to watch a movie this Friday evening.

The City of North Battleford Leisure Services department will be having a free drive-in movie as part of its Send-Off to Summer event, now in its fourth year.

Cross Fit N.B. hits podium three times at Bridge City Beatdown

With a total of eight divisions and 350 competitors, this year's Bridge City Beatdown was a sight to behold.

Taking place at the Ramada Golf Dome in Saskatoon from Sept. 8-10, there was over 35,000 square feet of space to work with and two competition floors running simultaneously.
