MP Ritz following Manchester attack: 'We are not immune'

As the world watched the horrors unfold on Monday following the terrorist attack on innocent concert goers in Manchester England, Lloydminster and Battlefords M.P. Gerry Ritz knows all too well that it could happen in our country as well.

Area residents can expect a very wet and windy 24 to 48 hours beginning later today.

Slow-pitch players took to the ball diamonds at the North Battleford Flats this morning to kick off the North Battleford Umpires Association’s (NBUA) 'In it to Win it' tournament.

While they may not have the green thumb for gardening quite yet, the Battlefords Family Health Centre (BFHC) Community Garden Project coordinators believe it’s never too early to learn.
