Recent threats to Hague Elementary School could be related to the white powder and bomb scares in Saskatoon.

The school has been evacuated twice in the last month according to a spokesperson from the Prairie Spirit School division.

School bomb threat tied to white powder cases: police

Emergency crews responded to a bomb threat at Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute Tuesday morning.

A letter sent to parents by principal Paul Humbert said police were called immediately after an emailed threat said there was a "potential explosive device" in the school.

Former Yorkton jail guard pleads guilty to drug trafficking

Bonny Maddaford, a former Yorkton RCMP cell block guard, was sentenced to jail on Monday.

The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges back on March 9, 2017.

She hid the drugs and other items within Kinder chocolate eggs and delivered them to prisoners.

Man charged in murder of Yellow Grass woman

RCMP have laid a first-degree murder charge in connection with the fire and suspicious death at a home in Yellow Grass.

RCMP confirm Kevin Obina Okafor, 37, of Yellow Grass, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, fleeing police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
