Father of 5 shot in July laid to rest by mourning family

Tyler Applegate is being remembered as a fun-loving father who would do anything for his family.

The 27-year-old was taken to hospital after being shot at his home on 33rd Street on July 22. He died Aug. 10, becoming Saskatoon’s third homicide victim of 2017.

Quarterly statistics show reduction in property crime: RCMP

Battleford's RCMP had some good news for the Town of Battleford yesterday. 

RCMP Insp. John Sutherland said property crime is down according to the latest quarterly statistics (April to June 2017) for the detachment.

Two charged with murder after Regina man found dead

Two men have been charged with murder after a 39-year-old man was killed Saturday in Regina.

Police were called to the 2100 block of Cornwall Street Saturday around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a seriously injured man.

Locals hit by fraud

If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

That’s the warning members of the Battlefords RCMP are issuing to local residents in the wake of recent complaints of money scams and frauds happening in the area.
