Michelle Englot slides into Tour Challenge quarters with win over Chelsea Carey

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Winnipeg's Michelle Englot earned a spot in the quarter-finals of the Tour Challenge after downing Calgary's Chelsea Carey 7-2 in a tiebreaker on Friday night.

Englot led 3-1 through three ends and blew the draw open in the fourth with a score of three.

Dallas Stars find footing in Alberta, beat Edmonton Oilers 3-2

Patrick Eaves had a goal and an assist and Kari Lehtonen made 40 saves as the Stars won their second game in as many nights, coming away with a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
