Election 2016: Saskatchewan election results at a glance

Brad Wall will begin his third term with a majority government after the Sask. Party captured 62.5 per cent of the vote in Monday's election.

The Sask. Party will now have 51 seats in the legislature - two more than when the legislature dissolved when Wall dropped the writ March 8.

Saskatoon proved it still bleeds Sask. Party green.

The city doled out its support, re-electing all of the popular party’s incumbents to aid a historic third consecutive majority win Monday night.

Election 2016: SaskParty big winners in northwest constituencies

It was a decisive sweep for the SaskParty around the Battlefords, as all the incumbent MLA’s won their northwest constituencies on April 4.

In Cut Knife-Turtleford, the SaskParty’s Larry Doke was re-elected, topping the second place NDP candidate Danica Lorer by over 4500 votes.

Update: Crews to remain overnight after massive fire at Shercom Industries

Saskatoon fire crews are expected to remain overnight to monitor the toxic remains of a massive blaze at a rubber recycling business.

Multiple reports came in of a fire at Shercom Industries, just off Highway 11, shortly after 7 p.m. Monday.

Wall wins again: Sask. Party with 3rd straight majority

Brad Wall and the Saskatchewan Party are one step closer to dynasty territory, sweeping to a majority government victory for a third consecutive term.

It was another resounding victory for the Sask. Party leading in five and elected in 44 ridings with 63 per cent of the popular vote.
