Albers traded to Seattle Mariners; will start Tuesday

North Battleford native Andrew Albers will start in Tuesday's Seattle Mariners game against the Baltimore Orioles.

Five former NB Vikings make Hilltops opening day roster

The Saskatoon Hilltops enter the 2017 Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) season in pursuit of history.

The club is currently the three-time defending national champions, which they've actually accomplished on three separate occasions since 2001 (2001-03, 2010-12, 2014-16).

North Battleford native and former North Stars MVP Blake Tatchell played four years at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (pictured) followed by a year and a half of pro hockey. He now resides in Sasaktoon, helping instruct hockey.
