The Battleford Trappers will look for a better result tonight when they play the North Battleford Beavers in Senior Men’s Baseball League action at the Ken Nelson Field.

A new Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA) rule will limit where young girls can play hockey.

Beginning in the 2018-19 season, girls who live outside of cities will not be able to play on city teams.

Blair Geering’s bases loaded triple in the top of the sixth was all the offence Kyle Palmer needed, as the veteran right-hander threw a complete game to lift the North Battleford Beavers over the Battleford Trappers 7-2 in Senior Baseball League action at the Ken Nelson Field on Thursday night.
