Archives Week Thank Yous

Thank you to all who came out and visited our display during Archives Week 2017.

Thank you to the Discovery Coop Territorial Place Mall for allowing us to set up our Historical Display, Andrew Friesen for providing the detailed aerial view of the City, Ultraprint for the donation of the display stands, the Saskatchewan Council of Archives and Archivists (SCAA) for funding our event and to everyone who provided information and photographs to complete our fantastic display.

A very Special “Thank You” to Leola Macdonald for bringing forward the subject of “The Corner Stores” and the hundreds of hours that she spent interviewing and gathering information for the files. Also, special thank you to Terry Lumsdon, Ken Sanders, Bill Wells, Harvey Cashmore, Larry Kulyk, Val Fitzgerald, Dawne Tokaryk and Hugh McIvor for their many hours of research that was added to Leola’s information. This all made our Archives Week display such a huge success – your knowledge of history and your many volunteer hours are greatly appreciated.
