North West College Celebrates International Women’s Day

North West College will be celebrating International Women’s Day – Pledge for Parity.

This year, students will make a pledge to help achieve gender equality. This includes: efforts to help women and girls achieve their ambitions, a call for gender-balanced leadership, fostering the respect and valuing of difference, the development of more inclusive and flexible cultures or efforts to root out workplace bias.

Additionally, a total of eight student nominated awards will be presented in categories of Academics, Creativity, Role Model, Business, Community Development, Courage, LGBT Advocacy and Volunteer Efforts.

Our celebration will be:

• Location: North West College (10702 Diefenbaker Drive) Student Lounge
• Date: Tuesday, March 8th, 2016
• Time: 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm
