The roots of Norsask Farm Equipment run deep in the Battlefords. Chisholm and Ferguson International goes back to 1940’s as the International Harvester dealer in North Battleford. The current Norsask started in 1988 as a Case IH dealership with only 12 employees. Today, they employ over 45 people and moved to the new larger location in 2010.

But while there is great history with the company in the region, the focus is on the future. In 2008, Leon Lozowchuk, Kevin Hadley and PFM Capital Inc. purchased Norsask Farm Equipment from Bill Volk. This new group implemented aggressive plans for growth of the business. The company has grown significantly since that time, and continues to expand with new bays and equipment.

“We have an excellent staff, and we strive to have great customer service and we have a great range of products. We are a one stop shop for everything,” said Larissa Wack, Marketing Manager at Norsask.

Not only does Norsask sell a wide range of top-quality equipment from tractors to balers to combines for farmers, but they also sell lawnmowers, chainsaws, blowers and more for the lawn and garden market.

“We really believe in making sure our staff is well-trained so they can provide the knowledge and expertise for everyone who comes through our doors,” added Wack.

As well as being a staple in the agricultural field in the region, the owners and staff at Norsask are also deeply involved in many community initiatives.
