North Battleford EMS plan to educate community on safety procedures this week

EMS week kicked off on Sunday, May 22 and staff at the WPD branch of North Battleford believe the week is a perfect time to educate community residents on the proper procedures when it comes to dealing with safety standards, emergencies and accidents.

Dekker Centre to fill with voices of the North

The halls of the Dekker Centre are in for a treat. Three time Juno Award winner Susan Aglukark will kick off her Canadian tour in North Battleford Thursday, May 26 with a night of music, culture and storytelling.

UPDATE: missing Ahtahkakoop First Nation girl found

A missing Ahtahkakoop First Nation girl has been found.

Jasmine Kaye-Masuskapeo, 17, had last been seen walking in North Battleford on Tuesday, May 17. She was found by Saskatoon Police Service in Saskatoon. 

The RCMP thank everyone for their help in locating her.
