The City of North Battleford hopes to make the community safer by helping residents get to know their neighbours better. To make it easier, it is trimming off some of the cost for two popular projects — block parties and street murals.

The City of North Battleford will no longer be accepting plastic bags and any kind of stretchable plastic or plastic film for recycling.

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce will host the national Talk with our Kids About Money event in North Battleford Wedensday and have organized two presentations at local schools.

Battlefords Chamber to teach kids about financial literacy

Local seventh graders will be educated on financial literacy tomorrow as a nationwide event comes to the Battlefords. 

Talk with our Kids About Money is put on by the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education with the support of Scotia Bank.

City votes against reduced traffic speeds outside daycare

North Battleford's city council decided to leave the traffic speed the same outside a local daycare centre at its recent meeting.
