'We need not have to beg': La Loche shooting victim calls out lack of support

Charlene Klyne will bear the physical scars of the deadly mass shooting in La Loche for the rest of her life.

Klyne was one of seven people injured Jan. 22 when a shooter entered the high school in the northern Sask. community, located about a six-hour drive north of Saskatoon.

Passengers can bid on discount airline’s unsold seats

Travellers can now bid for a seat on Canada’s newest discount airline.

NewLeaf announced a partnership with Calgary-based company Jump On Flyaways Tuesday, which would see unsold seats filled by the highest bidder.

Family member says mother found infant Nikosis beaten in playpen

A family member says six-week-old Nikosis Jace Cantre was found bruised and bloodied in his playpen before dying in hospital.

Police reported officers found Cantre with injuries after responding to a call at a home on Waterloo Crescent around 7 a.m. Sunday.

Saskatoon police have confirmed they received a tip regarding the whereabouts of the 16-year-old girl accused of killing infant Nikosis Jace Cantre, a day before his death.

'Let there be justice served:' Grandfather of infant killed in Saskatoon speaks out

Emotions ran high after a brief bail hearing for a teenage girl accused in the death of a six-week-old infant boy.

More than a dozen of the victim’s family members and friends waited nearly two hours for what would be a five-minute hearing in Saskatoon Tuesday morning.
