Fans flock for glimpse of multi-million dollar Monroe gown

Even 55 years after her death, the fame and popularity of Marilyn Monroe continues to live on for many, as thousands of people lined up outside the Luseland Community Hall to catch a glimpse of her iconic pieces of clothing.

The world’s most famous (and expensive) dresses is coming to the small community of Luseland today, and will be shown across western Canada in the next few weeks.

It was a gown so tight that Marilyn Monroe needed to be sewn into it before she sang a scandalously breathy rendition of Happy Birthday to U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1962. And now the world's most famous, and most expensive dress, will be available for viewing in Luseland, SK from 10 a.m.

Believe it or not…. The world’s most famous (and expensive) dress is coming to the small community of Luseland in less than two weeks.

RCMP have charged Wesley John Veit with one count of first-degree murder in relation to the death of Heidi Veit.

Wesley J. Veit, from the R.M. of Buffalo, was taken into police custody at a residence in the R.M. of Buffalo at 6:53 p.m. this evening, March 29, without incident.
