Meota Terry Fox Run appreciates small showing

A small but dedicated group of supporters laced up for Meota's annual Terry Fox Run.

Roughly 20 people attended the event slightly less than last year's count of 35. Karl Caslor who organized the event with his wife Irene was pleased with the support, nonetheless.

Living Sky School Division sees jump in enrolment

Living Sky School Division is enjoying a sizable increase in enrolment overall in its latest numbers for the new school year.

The total enrolment came in at 5,674 based on the Sept. 8 report, 148 above the projected count of 5,526. The Sept. 2016 enrolment was 5,567.

City hosting drive-in movie night

Families in the Battlefords will have an opportunity to experience a new, yet old, way to watch a movie this Friday evening.

The City of North Battleford Leisure Services department will be having a free drive-in movie as part of its Send-Off to Summer event, now in its fourth year.
