Prairie North Health Region passes status quo budget

Prairie North Regional Health Authority (PNRHA) said the health region is staying status quo for its new budget in light of the province’s plans to restructure the 12 health regions in Saskatchewan and amalgamate to form one single health unit.

Battleford post office returning downtown

The local post office is coming back downtown after a much-needed restoration.

The town of Battleford's post office building on 22nd St. W. is getting a new life after two investors decided to purchase the 116-year-old building to restore it.

The annual North Battleford International Street Performer Festival will be returning to the downtown area this summer for its fourth year.

Volunteer chair Kent Lindgren said he is thrilled to see the festival's growth.
