Day of highs and lows for young gymnasts at games

It was a day of emotional highs and lows for young athletes vying in the final round of artistic gymnastics competitions on Wednesday.

Parents filled the stands cheering on their kids taking part in the events as part of the Saskatchewan Winter Games in North Battleford.

Games a big first step for young gymnasts

When they aren't buckling down perfecting their routines, gymnasts from across the province taking part in the Saskatchewan Winter Games in North Battleford have been enjoying the atmosphere of the games.

Youth show skills in artistic gymnastics on first day of Games

Youth from across Saskatchewan showed their talents in the artistic gymnastics competition Monday, the first day of the 2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games in North Battleford.

The event took place in the Fieldhouse, with many parents filling the stands.

Sask Winter Games torch relay lights up North Battleford

The 2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games officially began Sunday evening as the torch relay lit up the streets of North Battleford.

Renowned Canadian sculptor Joe Fafard showcases passion for rural life

A passion for life on the farm in all its detail has guided renowned Canadian sculptor Joe Fafard's work for much of his life. 

The celebrated artist from rural Saskatchewan was fêted at a special reception for his show "Retailles" at The Chapel Gallery, Thursday night.
